Yes. I gave it a 9 out of 10. Jack on the curly hill under the moon, the snowy streets of Christmas Town and the sleigh ride across the sky all look stunning in 3D, and the 76 minute runtime makes it an easy family outing. It's a limited run, so catch it while it's on the big screen.

For most kids, no. It's rated PG for some scariness. The spookiest parts are the creepy opening song, a few jumpy "presents" in the middle and the bug-filled villain Oogie Boogie near the end. The little girl in front of me, about 4 or 5, laughed a lot and hummed along to the songs.
